New Year, New You? What 2025 is Already Giving
Happy New Year and welcome to 2025! Let’s chat about what 2025 is already looking like. As we let go of 2024 it’s a great time to reflect on what the past year has taught us, what worked and didn’t work, and from that what we are birthing in the new year.
2024 was a personal 4 year for me, which was all about foundational building. It had me slow down, regroup, restructure, take a pause, and practicing the art of letting go, aka detachment.
As I approach this new year, I am clearer and with a fire burning under my booty a little haha of what my intentions are, what I am no longer choosing or even entertaining in my mind, and what to have laser focus on.
They say we can make plans, and then life happens. But we have a few things on our side to navigate our lives that can point out what is going on in real time.
What 2025 is Looking Like: Staring with New Moon & Capricorn Season
On Monday, December 30th, 2024, we entered the New Moon in Capricorn. It was also a rare black moon, being that we had 2 New Moons show up in December.
Capricorn is an earth sign and ruled by Saturn, the planet of karma, discipline, and structure.
It is also represented by the goat. When we give people the name of the g.o.a.t (greatest of all time)-think Capricorn energy!
Its energy is feminine, hardworking, CEO & boss energy, financial goals, leadership, driven, & responsible.
The shadow of Capricorn can be consumed by materialism and/or personal goals and one’s own agenda (workaholic). Can be overly critical, come off as unemotional/cold, depressed and chained to their own desires.
In tarot, Capricorn is represented by the devil card. It’s important to understand one’s attachments & not let them be a slave or chained to their desires in a negative way.
New Moon, New Beginnings, New Year
When we are in tuned with the cycles of the moon, the new moon represents new beginnings, planting seeds of new goals, and setting intentions.
With Capricorn energy and the ending of 2024 this is a perfect time to reflect and contemplate what this past year taught you and what you are opening up and intending for 2025 with practical steps & application.
Current Transit: Gate 38-The Spiritual Warrior
As you can see with the above picture, the Sun just moved into gate 38 on Dec 30th, and will remain in gate 38 till Jan 4th, 2025, in the transits which is the gate of the fighter or in gene keys, the key of honor.
This gate/key is the energy of the spiritual warrior, knowing what to fight for and experience honor as an outcome.
The shadow of the gate/key can go into fighting/struggling as it is part of the channel of struggle.
So, as we follow our strategy & authority with this new moon & Capricorn energy, we can contemplate what we are choosing to fight for for the highest good, versus feeling the pressure (since it is coming off the root center) and feeling the conditioned stress to take action/react prematurely.
We also have gate 39 in the earth which is the gate of provocation and sending the energy of the incarnation cross, the RAX of tension in the transits as well.
So, this is a time where things are being provoked and pointed out in a not-so-subtle way of what gets to mutate, change, and be brought to light.
Also, as a caveat with the theme of the year ending and new year approaching people love making New Year’s resolutions around this time of year, jumping into things, and going gun- ho to later fizzle out and not keep their commitments. so, a few things…
For Your Consideration…
1) We are still in winter season (in the northern hemisphere) & it’s a time of hibernation, reflection, purging/decay of what no longer is serving, rest and slowness.
2) With all that is going on in the transits and astrology, especially with mars retrograde we are still reviewing what action needs to take place before we decide and how can we decide?
Following our strategy and authority via your human design. and maybe you are taking new action already which is great! And for others, it still may be a time to continue to wait for that clarity to come through.
3) As I mentioned previously with the Sun and Earth gates both in the root center, we want to be aware of that pressure center, if it is linking up to other hanging gates, and how that may be conditioning you. (Have you gotten a transit reading yet to know how to navigate and read the transits according to your chart??)
From Hesitant, to Empowered Leadership
Lastly, with Mars retrograde opposing Pluto there is tension to take action and transform, especially with Mars in Leo at the moment and Chiron in Aries just went direct.
We have this clarity opening up from being in this retrospective period of where we have been healing, and now more energy is coming through for our personal destiny, how we are showing up in our leadership, and what we are no longer tolerating.
In the rave chart our new year doesn’t technically start till later in January when the sun is in gate 41, which is the start gate that you guessed it, starts the new year with the energy of the gate of fantasy or in its higher expression, anticipation.

Happy New Year! 5 years Alcohol Free!
*Quick personal share* It was 5 years ago today (Jan 1st, 2020) that I decided… and through an invitation (hello strategy for my projector self) … to give up alcohol for one year!
If you didn’t know, I had been drinking since I was 14 and was a binge drinker. I didn’t know when enough was enough, due to my undefined sacral and other open motor centers 
What a difference that ONE choice I made on a day that is hard to keep a New Year’s resolution but here I am today 5 freakn years alcohol free & living a sober life 
This is one of the most successful choices I have and will ever make, to live a life that is in service of my love of self, so I can really love my people and serve YOU/THEM better too
I never thought I’d be able to give up alcohol, but I did, I healed my addictions, saw how they played out in my conditioning via my openness in human design & ancestral habits and freakn CRUSHED IT!!
And I’m still crushing it with more stuff to heal and evolve in! There are still some rare moments when I’ll get a thought 
about drinking when I’ve been pushed passed my limits and a deep trigger is present and I’m like wow, that hasn’t shown up in awhile, but I notice it and let it go.. bc I refuse to be a slave to my mind
I’m here to master that sh*t and show people what’s possible! When we open up, share our vulnerabilities, and let others in, that’s how we really transform
What are you transforming in 2025??
In Conclusion
The one time my personal New Year’s resolution paid off in ways I could have never expected! I was invited to take a step in that spiritual warrior energy, to fight for my own sobriety and well-being.
